Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Press Operator to join our team. As a Press Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and technical expertise in print production.WE ARE WILLING TO TRAIN THE RIGHT CANIDATE THAT HAS MECHANICLE KNOWLEDGE!
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate printing presses according to job specifications
- Monitor press performance and make adjustments as needed to ensure optimal print quality
- Load and unload paper stock
- Perform routine maintenance on printing presses, such as cleaning and lubricating parts
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment issues to minimize downtime
- Collaborate with the production team to meet production goals and deadlines
- Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Press Operator or similar role in the printing industry
- Strong knowledge of print advertising, layout design, and color management
- Familiarity with prepress processes and procedures
- Ability to operate forklifts or other material handling equipment is preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform quality control checks
