Overview
We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auto body repair and restoration, with experience in various techniques and tools essential for high-quality vehicle maintenance. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who is committed to delivering exceptional service and craftsmanship.
Responsibilities
- Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, frame straightening, and panel replacement.
- Utilize MIG welding and fabrication techniques to repair or replace damaged components.
- Conduct mechanical inspections and repairs to ensure vehicles are in optimal condition.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and airless paint spraying equipment for various repair tasks.
- Execute detailing and assembly work to restore vehicles to their original condition.
- Manage auto glass replacement and repair as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and estimates.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist in heavy lifting of automotive parts and components during the repair process.
Experience
- Previous experience in an auto body shop or dealership setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in auto body repair techniques, including sheet metal work, soldering, and auto painting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance.
- Familiarity with auto estimating processes is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
