We are seeking a passionate and experienced Infant Teacher to join our dynamic early childhood education team. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote early literacy, math skills, sensory exploration, and social-emotional development tailored to infants’ needs.
- Provide attentive toddler care by monitoring health, safety, nutrition, and hygiene standards in compliance with childcare regulations.
- Manage classroom activities with enthusiasm, ensuring a safe, inclusive environment that encourages curiosity and independence.
- Employ effective behavior management techniques to foster positive interactions and emotional regulation among infants.
- Collaborate with families through regular communication about each child's progress, milestones, and any developmental concerns.
- Support early intervention strategies for children requiring additional assistance or special education services.
- Maintain detailed documentation of developmental progress, lesson plans, and classroom routines to ensure compliance with licensing standards and educational best practices.
Qualifications
- Proven classroom experience working with infants in early childhood education or daycare settings.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, including Montessori methods and preschool best practices.
- Demonstrated skills in curriculum development, lesson planning, and implementing literacy education alongside other foundational skills like math and physical education.
- Experience working with children requiring special education or early intervention services is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Familiarity with standardized testing procedures relevant to early childhood assessment tools.
