We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Dental Hygienist to join our collaborative team and help patients achieve and maintain healthy smiles.
Schedule
- Monday: 11:30 AM – 7:00 PM
- Tuesday: 10:15 AM – 7:00 PM
- Thursday: 9:45 AM – 6:30 PM (Palos Heights location: 6446 W. 127th St., Suite 1, Palos Heights, IL 60463)
- Friday: 8:15 AM – 2:00 PM
- Saturday (Every Other): 7:15 AM – 2:00 PM
Position Summary
As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional preventative care while educating patients on maintaining optimal oral health. Working alongside our doctors and clinical team, you will provide high-quality hygiene services in a supportive, patient-centered practice dedicated to outstanding care.
Essential Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and periodontal maintenance.
- Conduct oral health assessments and periodontal screenings.
- Take and evaluate dental radiographs.
- Review and update patient medical and dental histories.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and preventative care.
- Apply fluoride treatments, sealants, and other preventative services as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.
- Follow OSHA, CDC, and infection control protocols to ensure a safe clinical environment.
- Collaborate with dentists and team members to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while creating a positive patient experience.
- Travel to our Palos Heights office each Thursday to provide patient care.
Qualifications
- Active Dental Hygienist license in the State of Illinois.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Strong communication and patient education skills.
- Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures, radiography, and infection control standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to providing outstanding patient care.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to the Palos Heights location on Thursdays.
