Job Summary
We’re on the lookout for friendly and organized Take Out Team Members to join our dynamic restaurant team. Duties
- Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism and courtesy, taking accurate orders from guests.
- Manage restaurant reservation systems and coordinate take-out orders efficiently using restaurant table management systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Prepare and package food orders carefully to ensure quality and presentation meet company standards.
- Maintain clear communication with kitchen staff to confirm order accuracy and timely delivery.
- Assist guests with questions about menu items, dietary restrictions, or order status to enhance guest relations.
- Follow food safety protocols and proper handling procedures during order preparation and packaging.
- Keep the take-out area organized and clean, ensuring all supplies are stocked and ready for service.
Experience
- Previous experience in restaurant reservation management or host/hostess roles is a plus.
- Food service experience or hospitality background is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is key!
- Familiarity with restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency.
- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and guest interaction, are essential.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and order calculations confidently.
- Experience with POS systems and food safety standards helps ensure smooth operations.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining excellent guest relations.
