Description:
Job Summary:
Under minimal supervision, operate an industrial forklift to load and unload material or equipment and transport the materials to/from loading docks.
Duties and Responsibility:-
Transport material or equipment to/from designated areas in the warehouse

Load and unload goods from trucks
-
Move goods packed on pallets or crates
-
Stack goods in the correct storage area, following inventory control instructions
-
Check to make certain loads are secure
-
Stack empty pallets
-
Perform daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck’s battery
-
Remove machine attachments and waste materials from machines
-
Examine products to ensure conformance to quality standards
-
Dump materials into hoppers
-
Other duties as needed or required
FULL TIME
STARTING PAY- $17.00/HR
Requirements:
Qualifications and Skills:-
Ability to fluently read, write and speak English
-
Ability to follow instructions for operating equipment and keeping necessary records
-
Detail oriented to prevent injury to property and people
-
Ability to operate equipment safely
-
Clean driving records and Forklift certification per OSHA standards
-
Ability to maintain confidentiality
-
Self-motivated and detail oriented
-
Trustworthy and dependable
-
Flexible and enthusiastic
-
Ability to meet production goals
-
Ability to stand, sit and walk for long periods of time
-
Ability to lift 50 pounds and adjust body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn and pivot

Good eye-hand-foot coordination

Ability to assess weights and judge distances and heights

Ability to work in varying temperatures, depending upon season
Physical Demands:

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time

Must be able to traverse and access any/all areas of the warehouse

Ability to work in a warehouse climate with a broad temperature range
