Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Swim Instructors. No prior experience is necessary, as we will provide comprehensive training to help you develop the skills needed to teach swimming safely and effectively. This position offers an excellent opportunity for those interested in working with children, sports, or fitness, and who want to make a positive impact in their community. Ideal candidates may have backgrounds in lifeguarding, sports coaching, martial arts, childcare, or teaching physical education. A passion for swimming and working with students is essential.
Responsibilities
- Teach swimming techniques and water safety skills to students of various ages and skill levels
- Ensure the safety of all participants during lessons by enforcing pool rules and supervising activities
- Foster a positive, encouraging environment that promotes confidence and enjoyment in the water
- Manage behavior and maintain discipline during classes to ensure a safe learning environment
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding student progress and safety
Requirements
- Passion for teaching swimming and working with children or students of all ages
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage behavior effectively
- Ability to work in or around water for a 4-5 hour period
- , responsible, and committed to creating a safe learning environment
- Previous experience working with students or in childcare is beneficial but not mandatory
- Must be able to pass any required background checks or certifications related to water safety or child supervision
