Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Fit Model to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is modeling, which involves providing accurate body measurements and fitting feedback to assist in the development and refinement of clothing designs. The Fit Model plays a crucial part in ensuring that garments meet quality standards, fit properly, and align with design specifications. This position offers an engaging opportunity for individuals interested in the fashion and apparel industry to contribute directly to the creation of well-fitting, high-quality products.
Responsibilities
- Act as a live fitting model for clothing prototypes and samples during the design and development process.
- Provide precise body measurements and feedback on fit, comfort, and overall appearance of garments. Prefer preferred body measurements +1 or 2 inches.: Bust 46; Waist 40; Hip 49. Height should be between 5’4”and 5’8”.
- Collaborate with designers, pattern makers, and technical teams to communicate fit issues and suggest improvements.
- Participate in fitting sessions, making adjustments as needed to ensure garments meet specifications.
- Maintain consistent body measurements to ensure accurate fittings across multiple collections or seasons.
- Adhere to scheduled fitting appointments and maintain professionalism throughout the process.
Qualifications
- Previous experience or interest in modeling, fashion, or apparel industry preferred but not required.
- Ability to accurately follow measurement guidelines and provide constructive feedback on fit.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with design and technical teams.
- Physically capable of maintaining consistent body measurements as required by the role.
- Detail-oriented with a strong understanding of garment construction and fit principles.
