Duties
- Review and process escrow instructions, title reports, and loan documents with precision and efficiency
- Coordinate with title companies, lenders, real estate agents, and clients to gather necessary documentation
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations such as TILA (Truth in Lending Act) and Fair Housing laws throughout all transactions
- Verify borrower information through credit analysis and underwriting procedures to support loan approval processes
- Prepare and review contracts, disclosures, and settlement statements in accordance with FNMA (Fannie Mae) guidelines and mortgage servicing standards
- Conduct basic math calculations for escrow amounts, prorations, and fee allocations using 10 key typing skills
- Maintain accurate records of all escrow activities, ensuring timely communication and documentation for each transaction
Skills
- Strong understanding of FNMA guidelines, mortgage underwriting, loan origination, and processing procedures
- Knowledge of escrow operations, including TILA regulations and contract management
- Experience with financial services, banking practices, and credit analysis techniques
- Familiarity with fair housing regulations and mortgage servicing requirements
- Proficiency in basic math skills necessary for calculations related to escrow accounts and loan processing
- Ability to perform 10 key typing efficiently for data entry tasks
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all documentation
