Slide Center Assistant
Immediate position available at large, independent pathology lab in Sarasota, FL
Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining all pathology slides and blocks daily
- Assisting in Slide Center
- Send-outs for consults, legal and research cases
- Tumor board cases
- EMR documentation
- Work closely with pathology labs at hospital and oncology center
- Communication with all physicians and medical facilities
Requirements:
- Candidate with AS or BS degree preferred
- Medical terminology, computer skills
- Experience in medical or lab settings
- Will train on specifics of Slide Center
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
