Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Certified Surgical Technologist to join our dynamic surgical team. In this vital role, you will assist in a wide range of surgical procedures across multiple specialties, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety, infection control, and operational efficiency. Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms by sterilizing and arranging surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies according to aseptic techniques and ASC protocols.
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments, suturing wounds, and handling surgical tools with precision and care.
- Support various specialties including Neurosurgery, Spine, Orthopedics and Pain Management Procedures.
- Ensure strict adherence to infection prevention protocols and ASC policies related to healthcare-associated infection control.
Requirements
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist from an accredited program; current certification required.
- Proven experience in ASC / hospital settings.
- Hands-on experience assisting in Neurosurgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Spine and Pain Management Procedures.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and surgical instrumentation.
- Proficiency in aseptic technique, sterilization processes for medical equipment, and infection control practices.
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments.
- Basic life support (BLS) certification required.
