Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Certified Surgical Technologist to join our dynamic surgical team. In this vital role, you will assist in a wide range of surgical procedures across multiple specialties, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety, infection control, and operational efficiency. Your expertise will support surgeons and healthcare professionals in delivering exceptional patient care within a fast-paced, state-of-the-art environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms by sterilizing and arranging surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies according to aseptic techniques and ASC protocols.
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments, suturing wounds, and handling surgical tools with precision and care.
- Support various specialties including Neurosurgery, Spine, Orthopedics and Pain Management Procedures.
- Ensure strict adherence to infection prevention protocols and ASC policies related to healthcare-associated infection control.
Requirements
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist from an accredited program; current certification required.
- Proven experience in ASC / hospital settings.
- Hands-on experience assisting in Neurosurgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Spine and Pain Management Procedures.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and surgical instrumentation.
- Proficiency in aseptic technique, sterilization processes for medical equipment, and infection control practices.
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments.
- Basic life support (BLS) certification required.
