Overview
We are an established patient focused practice looking for a Registered Dental Hygienist who can help us deliver exceptional dental care to our patients.
We are looking for someone who can communicate effectively with our patients as well as help to create a warm and welcoming environment. A generous length of time is given per appointment so that you can take pride in the work that is done and feel good about truly helping others while nurturing quality relationships with our patients.
Duties
- Dental prophylaxis
- Scaling and root planing
- Periodontal charting and oral health assessments
- Take dental radiographs
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and provide recommendations for optimal oral health
- Review medical records and documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Maintain sterilization standards and infection control procedures in accordance with industry guidelines
- Assist with dental and medical coding related to dental procedures for accurate billing and record-keeping
Skills
- Compassionate and patient
- Strong communication skills
- Prior experience in a dental office or clinic environment demonstrating proficiency in patient care and documentation review as a dental hygienist
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment practicing aseptic techniques and maintaining high standards of infection control
- Knowledge of HIPAA rules and regulations
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $43.00 - $55.00 per hour
