Overview
Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Lead, where you'll take charge of overseeing complex construction projects from inception to completion. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage construction teams on-site, supervising daily activities to ensure adherence to project plans, schedules, and safety protocols.
- Monitor construction safety compliance by enforcing OSHA standards and federal safety regulations; conduct regular safety audits and training sessions.
- Coordinate quality control measures, inspecting work for compliance with design specifications and industry standards.
- Manage project budgets, track costs, and implement cost-saving strategies without compromising quality or safety.
- Supervise crew management activities, training, performance evaluations, and managing labor productivity on-site.
- Review construction progress regularly; adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project flow and resolve issues promptly.
Skills
- Extensive experience with construction
- Strong knowledge of construction regulations including OSHA standards and federal safety requirements.
- Proven ability to read and interpret complex construction drawings and technical documents.
- Demonstrated expertise in project scheduling, budget management, and contract administration.
- Excellent supervisory skills with experience managing teams in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Skilled in managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for managerial roles; capable of coordinating between diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with construction site operations including, safety management, quality control, and crew supervision.
- Knowledge of commercial construction practices along with the ability to interpret technical specifications accurately.
- Valid Drivers License
