Job Summary
Avis Budget Car Rental is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Part-Time Rental Sales Agent to join our team. This position involves assisting customers with vehicle rentals and returns, preparing vehicles for rental, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with rental and return transactions
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist with reservations
- Inspect vehicles before and after rentals
- Clean and prepare vehicles for customers
- Move and organize vehicles on the lot
- Maintain accurate rental records and paperwork
- Resolve customer questions and concerns professionally
- Help maintain a clean and organized rental location
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Must be at least 25 years old
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move vehicles throughout the day
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Previous customer service, sales, or rental car experience is a plus but not required
Schedule
- Part-time
- Hours will vary based on business needs and rental volume
- Weekend availability preferred
