The Role
We're looking for an enthusiastic, reliable team member to join our weekend (indoor) Focacceria pop-up in Williamsburg every Saturday and Sunday in June. This is a perfect role for someone who loves food culture, thrives in a customer-facing environment and is excited to contribute to the growth of a small business.
Responsibilities
- Take and process orders with efficiency and warmth - you make our customers feel hosted
- Fulfill orders with light food prep work
- Set up and break down of cafe
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Provide excellent customer service and representation of the Gotcha Focaccia brand
Qualifications
Required:
- Valid Food Handler License / Certificate
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Comfortable standing for 6 hours
Preferred:
- Outgoing and personable
- Strong multitasking abilities in fast-paced settings
- Genuine passion for food and artisan products
- Prior experience in food service
- Prior experience in sales
Compensation
- Hourly rate: $17-$20 (commensurate with experience)
