Hillcrest Health & Living is looking for a friendly, dependable, and service-focused Server to join our dining team at Hillcrest Mable Rose in Papillion, NE.

What You’ll Do
As a Server, you will work closely with residents, culinary team members, and other community staff to provide friendly, efficient meal service while maintaining a clean, comfortable, and inviting dining environment.
You will:
- Greet residents warmly and provide friendly, attentive meal service.
- Serve meals and beverages according to resident preferences and established dining procedures.
- Assist residents with meal selections and respond to dining requests.
- Follow prescribed diets, food textures, and other individualized dining needs as directed.
- Set up dining areas before meals and clean and reset tables following service.
- Maintain clean, organized, and welcoming dining spaces.
- Assist with dishes and other kitchen or dining-room responsibilities as needed.
- Stock dining areas and maintain appropriate supply levels.
- Assist with food and beverage preparation within established guidelines.
- Follow food-safety, sanitation, infection-control, and chemical-handling procedures.
- Complete required food temperature and safety documentation as assigned.
- Properly date, label, store, and rotate food items.
- Communicate resident preferences, concerns, or changes to the appropriate team member.
- Build positive relationships with residents through friendly conversation and dependable service.
- Work collaboratively with culinary and community team members to keep meal service running smoothly.
- Assist with special meals, celebrations, events, and additional dining needs as assigned.

- A genuine interest in working with aging adults.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to provide courteous and professional service to residents, families, and guests.
- Strong attention to detail with resident preferences and dietary needs.
- Dependability and consistent follow-through.
- Ability to stay organized and manage multiple priorities during busy meal periods.
- A positive and flexible approach when resident needs or priorities change.
- Strong teamwork and willingness to help wherever needed.
- Ability to follow food-safety, sanitation, and infection-control procedures.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous dining, food service, restaurant, hospitality, senior living, or customer-service experience preferred.
- Experience working with aging adults is helpful but not required.

Physical & Other Requirements
- Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
- Must be able to independently lift up to 35 pounds.
- Must be able to perform repetitive standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and movement throughout the shift.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced dining environment with strong attention to detail.
- Must be flexible, calm, and professional when responding to resident, family, or guest needs.
- Must be able to follow established food-safety, sanitation, infection-control, and chemical-handling procedures.
- Must be able to utilize technology and available resources efficiently and effectively.
- Possible exposure to communicable diseases and bodily fluids.
- Other duties as assigned.
