The Opportunity
As our firm continues to grow, we're intentionally separating Client Service from Operations so each function can develop the specialized leadership it deserves. This role will lead the client service experience, develop our Client Service Associate (CSA) team, and maintain the consistency that allows advisors to focus on delivering exceptional financial advice.
Success in this role comes from balancing exceptional client service with strong leadership. This position serves clients directly while coaching and developing the Client Service Associate team, creating consistency across every client relationship. You'll partner closely with our advisors and operations team while you focus on leading people, supporting clients, and maintaining the standards that support a consistent, high-quality client experience.
What You'll Do
Client Service Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop the Client Service Associate team, including individualized career growth plans.
- Conduct department meetings and deliver structured training through an established and evolving training curriculum.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, responsiveness, and exceptional client care.
Client Experience
- Provide direct client service while ensuring consistent, proactive, high-quality support across all advisor teams.
- Coordinate with advisors and CSAs on meeting preparation, client follow-up, service requests, relationship management, and capacity balancing to support advisor success.
- Ensure client commitments are tracked and completed within established service standards.
- Resolve escalated client service issues proactively.
Advisor Team Support
- Collaborate with advisors to ensure CSAs are providing consistent, high-quality support.
- Manage department capacity and workload distribution, and monitor department metrics and goals.
- Identify opportunities that improve service consistency across the firm.
- Reinforce established service standards and expectations.
Strategic Oversight
- Partner with Leadership on staffing, hiring, and long-term department growth.
- Analyze and report client service trends and staffing needs to leadership, leading strategic initiatives that strengthen service consistency across the firm.
Required Qualifications
- Five or more years of experience in wealth management, financial services, or a related client service environment (seven or more preferred).
- Previous leadership, supervisory, or management experience.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Passion for coaching, mentoring, and developing others.
- Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with CRM and financial services technology.
Preferred
- Previous experience leading or working within a client service team in a wealth management firm (five or more years preferred).
- Knowledge of financial planning workflows and advisory service models.
- Experience leading teams through change and growth.
- Series 7 and 63 licenses.
Compensation
Competitive base salary commensurate with experience. Final compensation structure will be determined based on the candidate's background and scope of the role at hire.
