Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential homes and commercial facilities, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, trash removal, and surface sanitization
- Use specialized cleaning equipment and supplies effectively to ensure optimal results
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness in restrooms, kitchens, offices, and common areas
- Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Communicate with clients or site managers to understand specific cleaning requirements or special requests
- Complete cleaning checklists and documentation to track completed tasks and report any maintenance issues
- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and notifying supervisors of supply needs
Experience
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience in residential or commercial settings is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn
- Familiarity with various cleaning techniques, tools, and products is advantageous
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a high level of quality
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that involve standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment throughout the shift
