Responsible for the department’s quality improvement program and participates in performance improvement activities, evaluation and planning of departmental/unit activities, orientation program in respective units, and all patient related clinical activities in area of jurisdiction at all times. Assures compliance with all regulatory and other agency requirements, laws and statutes pertaining to the operation of the department.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Must possess current Michigan RN license
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in an acute care hospital
- Minimum 2 years management experience
- Master’s Degree in Nursing or health related field required, or to be completed within 2 years of hire/transfer
