Assembly Lead
Our growing manufacturing client is seeking an Assembly Lead for their team! This full-time, direct-hire role offers great benefits including 401(k) matching, health and life insurance, a health savings account, and PTO.
Responsibilities of the Assembly Lead
- Lead and assist team in assembly of products
- Train Assemblers and assign workflow based on production goals
- Collaborate with Production Planner to prioritize and organize an efficient production plan; monitor orders and communications from sales, and adjust plan as needed
- Report material and labor shortages and processing issues to management
- Ensure team follows quality, safety, housekeeping, and process requirements
- Maintain inventory
- Perform additional tasks as required
Qualifications of the Assembly Lead
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous mechanical assembly experience
- Experience with ERP systems and spreadsheets
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Good reading and math skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead and work cooperatively as part of a team
- Must demonstrate a sense of urgency when required to meet production goals
- Manual dexterity and ability to lift and move up to 40 lbs.
The Assembly Lead works flexible, first-shift hours for $27-$32/hour, depending on experience.
