Riggins Crabhouse is hiring a full-time Pantry Chef to join our kitchen team.
We are looking for an experienced, dependable Pantry Chef who can work clean, move quickly, and take pride in consistent prep and presentation. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced seafood restaurant where quality, organization, and reliability matter every day.
Position Details
- Pay: $20 per hour
- Schedule: Full-time, Wednesday through Sunday
- Days Off: Monday and Tuesday
- Benefits: 2 weeks paid vacation
- Experience: Required
Responsibilities
- Prepare and plate pantry items according to Riggins Crabhouse standards
- Handle cold station prep, salads, appetizers, desserts, sauces, garnishes, and related menu items
- Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked workstations
- Follow proper food safety, sanitation, and storage procedures
- Assist with daily prep and service needs
- Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth, timely service
- Maintain consistency in portioning, presentation, and quality
- Help keep the kitchen running efficiently during busy service periods
Qualifications
- Prior pantry, prep cook, or line cook experience is required
- Strong understanding of kitchen cleanliness and food safety
- Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Able to follow recipes, prep lists, and kitchen direction
- Strong attention to detail and presentation
- Comfortable standing for long periods and working during busy service shifts
- Seafood restaurant experience is a plus, but not required
