Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and personable Waiter/Waitress to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will deliver outstanding service to our guests by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a memorable dining experience. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a warm atmosphere that keeps guests coming back.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, offering recommendations when appropriate
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Serve food, beverages, and cocktails efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety
- Process cash and card transactions accurately, including sales upselling to enhance guest experience
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service stations, and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist with food preparation, beverage service, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed
- Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing inquiries promptly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout their visit
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining settings
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, and Jonas for reservations management
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to increase sales opportunities
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
- Food safety certification and understanding of sanitation protocols in the food industry
- Experience with food handling, serving, bussing tables, host/hostess duties, cashiering, and guest relations
