Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and responsible Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to maintaining a secure environment through proactive surveillance, conflict management, and adherence to safety protocols. This role is essential in preventing loss, managing emergencies, and upholding the safety standards of our organization.

Duties
- Monitor security cameras (CCTV) and surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity or security breaches at certain locations.
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to identify potential hazards or unauthorized access.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, including medical situations requiring first aid.
- Enforce security policies and procedures, including loss-prevention strategies and access-control measures.
- Manage conflict situations with professionalism and de-escalation techniques to ensure safety for all parties involved.
- Maintain detailed incident reports and documentation of daily activities.
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
Skills
- Proven experience in security, law enforcement, the military, or related fields is preferred but not required.
- Strong surveillance skills with experience operating CCTV systems.
- Excellent conflict management and communication skills.
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and security best practices.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle stressful situations effectively.
- Familiarity with security equipment and technology such as CCTV systems and alarm systems.
