Blue Diamond Industries is seeking an experienced and motivated Production Manager to lead operations at our manufacturing facility in Ogden, Utah. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing daily production, driving operational excellence, developing employees, and ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

What You'll Do
As our Production Manager, you will play a key role in the success of the plant by:
- Leading and developing production employees to achieve company goals and performance expectations
- Managing day-to-day operations across four production shifts while ensuring alignment with company objectives
- Creating and implementing strategies that improve productivity, efficiency, quality, and employee engagement
- Monitoring production schedules and coordinating resources to meet customer demands
- Evaluating key performance indicators (KPIs) and making adjustments to production
- Ensuring products are manufactured according to engineering specifications and quality standards
- Identifying operational challenges and implementing solutions to minimize downtime and improve performance
- Promoting and enforcing workplace safety standards and regulatory compliance
- Ensuring equipment operates efficiently and coordinating maintenance needs when necessary
- Administering company policies fairly and consistently
- Supporting additional operational initiatives as assigned
What We're Looking For
High School Diploma or GED
Supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with employees, managers, and senior leadership
Proven leadership and team-building abilities with a track record of achieving operational results
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Ability to establish trust, accountability, and positive working relationships across the organization
Preferred Qualifications
Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical experience
Technical certifications or advanced manufacturing training
Experience managing production scheduling, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
- Ability to occasionally lift, push, or pull up to 50-100 pounds
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and around production equipment
