What You’ll Do:
- Lead a crew performing barge tank, hold, and deck cleaning using hydroblasting equipment.
- Operate hydroblasters, pumps, vacuums, hoses, and other industrial cleaning equipment.
- Remove cargo residue, rust, and debris while ensuring proper waste disposal.
- Enforce confined space, LOTO, PPE, and other safety requirements.
- Set up, inspect, and maintain cleaning equipment.
- Assign work, monitor progress, and communicate with supervisors.
- Complete daily inspections, job reports, and safety documentation.
- Train and coach crew members on safe work practices and company standards.
Requirements:
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and physical test.
- Able to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in varying weather conditions.
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, climb, and be on your feet for long periods.
- Willing to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.
- Prior experience in marine, industrial, or tank cleaning is a plus.
- TWIC card preferred or willingness to obtain.
