The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Report to work in a neat and clean uniform; maintain well-groomed hair and personal hygiene as established by company policy.
- Interact with guests coming in and as they leave, ensure a positive dining experience.
- Answer phone calls and questions concerning the menu and restaurant.
- Clean, organize, and stock menus at host area.
- Accurately quote wait times and take reservations that align with company reservation policy.
- Assist servers, bartenders, bussers, and managers when asked.
- Maintain restroom and take out area as needed throughout shift.
- Other projects and tasks may be delegated as needed.
California Food Handlers card is required for all service employees who prepare, store, and serve food.- A willingness to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- High energy and strong verbal communication skills required.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Ability to prioritize and work effectively within a sometimes-pressurized environment.
- Must be able to read menus, safety documents, and other work-related documents.
