AngleZ Behavioral Health Services is seeking a passionate and motivated recovery coach to work in both our Augusta location and Skowhegan location.
A Recovery Coach works within the Opioid Health Home program. The position combines peer support, advocacy, and member engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Connect members with peer support services, advocacy groups, and recovery resources.
- Organize and facilitate the ABHS Consumer Council group.
- Collaborate closely with the Opioid Health Home team.
- Participate in Peer Advisory meetings to:
o Identify gaps in peer services.
o Assess training needs.
o Review consumer feedback and develop action plans.
- Support members in achieving treatment plan goals.
- Help members overcome barriers that interfere with their recovery goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services and time spent with members.
- Keep current information on local peer-support resources.
- Assist members in building natural support systems such as family, friends, community groups, and recovery networks.
- Contribute as an active team member.
Qualifications
The Peer Recovery Coach must meet one of the following:
- Be a person with lived experience in recovery.
- Be a recovery ally
- Have received services for recovery.
- Be willing to openly identify as a person in recovery when working with members.
Physical Requirements
The position requires occasional:

- Lifting up to 25 pounds
- Use of one or both hands for gross motor activities

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
