Scope of Work:
- Identify and prioritize relevant funding opportunities (HRSA, USDA, Delta Regional Authority, and other federal/state sources)
- Develop and write competitive grant proposals from start to submission
- Collaborate with HR and leadership to gather workforce data and program details
- Assist with grant strategy, timelines, and supporting documentation
- Provide guidance on compliance and reporting requirements
Priority Focus Areas:
- Nursing recruitment and retention programs
- Behavioral health workforce expansion
- Rural workforce pipeline development (education partnerships, training programs)
Required Experience:
- Demonstrated success securing federal healthcare grants (especially HRSA)
- Experience working with rural hospitals or health systems
- Strong understanding of healthcare workforce challenges
- Ability to manage full grant lifecycle (research submission)
Preferred:
- Experience with Delta Regional Authority or USDA funding
- Background in healthcare administration, public health, or nonprofit management
