American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Wound/Ostomy Care position requiring a WCC certification and Epic proficiency in a multi-hospital health system.

Day shift schedule, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (5x8 hours)

Primary placement is at a high-volume acute care hospital managing wound and ostomy consults
-
Floating is required to cover all 4 system hospitals when the assigned WOCN is unavailable or consult volume is elevated, which may occur a few times per week

Works alongside a team of WOCNs and per diem wound care RNs across the health system

No weekend requirements

No on-call requirements

Epic EMR experience is required

Active FL or Compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted

Current BLS certification required

Wound Care Certified (WCC) certification required and must be in hand at time of consideration

WOCN certification preferred

Minimum 1 year of wound/ostomy care nursing experience required

Epic EMR proficiency required

Two professional references from authority figures (Manager, Supervisor, Charge Nurse, or Director) from within the past year required for consideration

Flu vaccine required during the October 31–March 31 season (medical and religious exemptions accepted)

Performs wound and ostomy consults across a network of four hospitals, with primary assignment at the highest-volume facility

Scrubs must be a solid color with matching tops and bottoms — no logos, prints, or mixed colors; candidates may wear their own or facility-provided scrubs

Candidates who have previously worked an internal contracted position at this health system must wait 1 year after their departure before being eligible

Block schedule may be accommodated depending on unit need and requires manager approval prior to offer
