Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Controller to lead accounting and financial operations for a leading Architecture & Design firm. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in financial management, project accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and hands-on experience with Ajera ERP.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Billing, and Revenue Recognition.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes.
- Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Monitor cash flow, project profitability, and job costing.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Partner with project managers on project budgets and financial performance.
- Support audits and provide financial insights to leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of accounting or finance leadership experience.
- Recent experience in the Architecture, Engineering, or Construction (A/E/C) industry.
- Hands-on experience with Ajera ERP is required.
