Duties
- Lead and supervise all store activities, ensuring smooth daily operations and adherence to company policies.
- Recruit, interview, and onboard new team members, fostering a positive employee orientation experience.
- Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to maximize sales opportunities.
- Oversee cash handling, POS transactions, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and budgeting tasks with accuracy.
- Implement effective sales strategies, monitor retail math metrics, and drive retail sales performance.
- Conduct training & development sessions to enhance team skills in customer service, sales techniques, and product knowledge.
- Maintain excellent communication with staff and customers while managing shift schedules and operational workflows.
Skills
- Proven management experience within the retail industry, including supervising teams and managing store operations.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to handle purchasing negotiations confidently.
- Excellent organizational skills with a focus on inventory management, stock control, and merchandising.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
- Proficiency in POS systems, retail math, cash handling procedures, and retail management software.
- Effective leadership qualities with experience in training & development, team motivation, and conflict resolution.
- Exceptional communication skills coupled with phone etiquette expertise for engaging customer interactions.
- Knowledge of grocery or wireless sales environments is a plus; familiarity with marketing strategies is advantageous.
- Ability to manage budgets, perform retail bookkeeping tasks, and oversee payroll processes accurately.
- Demonstrated ability to handle operational management tasks such as pricing adjustments, inventory audits, and stock replenishment.
