Our hotel is looking for a friendly, dependable, and energetic Bartender to join our restaurant team. You'll be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for hotel guests and local patrons while serving beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages. You'll also have the opportunity to work alongside a Michelin-trained chef who is passionate about creating great food and memorable guest experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a timely and friendly manner.
- Greet guests and provide outstanding customer service.
- Take drink orders and work with the restaurant team to ensure guests receive excellent service.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area.
- Verify guest identification and follow all alcohol service laws and company policies.
- Process payments accurately using the POS system.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning, stocking, and preparing the bar for service.
- Monitor inventory and communicate restocking needs to management.
- Maintain a positive, professional attitude and work as part of a team.
Qualifications:
- Previous bartending experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Friendly personality with excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Basic knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, and cocktails.
- Must be at least 21 years old and able to obtain any required alcohol service certification.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
