We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer with experience in MEP design to support commercial, healthcare, education, and mixed-use projects. This role will assist in the design and coordination of electrical systems from concept through construction.
Responsibilities:
- Design electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems
- Perform load calculations and support short circuit and coordination studies
- Prepare construction documents using Revit
- Coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, and architectural teams
- Assist with permitting and respond to agency comments
- Support construction administration, including RFIs and submittal reviews
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 3–7 years of MEP design experience
- Proficiency in Revit required
- EIT preferred but not required
- Knowledge of NEC and relevant building codes
- Experience with SKM, ETAP, or similar software is a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
