Overview:
We're looking for a reliable and experienced Skilled Tradesman to join our team for an ongoing hotel remodel projects. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of performing a wide range of renovation and maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general renovation tasks, including painting, tiling, flooring, and drywall repair.
- Remove existing carpet and install carpet tiles efficiently and neatly.
- Assist with minor plumbing and electrical work.
- Install and maintain fixtures, appliances, and equipment throughout the property
- Safely operate tools and equipment related to renovation and maintenance work.
- Work independently or as part of a team to meet project goals and deadlines.
- Collaborate with other departments to support hotel operations and guest satisfaction
- Ability to work independently and in a team group as needed and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to upholding high standards of quality, safety, and customer service
Qualifications:
- Skilled in painting, tiling, flooring installation, drywall repair, and general finishing work.
- Knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems preferred.
- Ability to use power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to follow direction and complete tasks within time constraints.
