About the Role
MedOp Solutions is partnering with a specialty pharmacy in Elk Grove Village, Illinois to hire two Enrollment Specialists for contract-to-hire opportunities.
This role begins with onsite training and transitions into a hybrid work model (office/remote) upon completion. The Enrollment Specialist plays a critical role in supporting new patient onboarding by managing data entry, verifying insurance eligibility, and resolving pharmacy claim issues.
This opportunity is ideal for candidates with retail pharmacy data entry experience who are detail-oriented, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are passionate about helping patients access medications efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter and maintain accurate patient data in pharmacy systems
- Verify and locate insurance coverage for new patient enrollments
- Resolve rejected pharmacy claims and document all actions taken
- Collaborate with admissions teams, pharmacists, and business partners
- Ensure timely processing of patient enrollments to avoid delays in care
- Communicate effectively with internal teams to troubleshoot issues
- Maintain compliance with pharmacy and insurance regulations
Qualifications
- Active Illinois Pharmacy Technician License required
- Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) preferred
- Minimum 1+ year of pharmacy data entry and claims experience required
- Retail pharmacy front-end/data entry experience strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of medical and pharmacy insurance processes
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills

- Pharmacy data entry and claims processing systems (specific platforms to be provided during training)
