Job Overview
We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Bakery Cleaner to help maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary environment throughout our bakery. This role is essential to ensuring our bakery meets the highest standards of cleanliness, food safety, and presentation.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize bakery equipment, workstations, and preparation areas
- Sweep, mop, and maintain bakery floors throughout the day and after closing
- Wash dishes, baking trays, utensils, and other kitchen equipment
- Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners
- Clean restrooms and employee areas as needed
- Restock cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies are low
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
- Assist with deep cleaning tasks on a scheduled basis
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
Qualifications
- Previous cleaning or restaurant/bakery experience is preferred but not required
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
