We are currently seeking a Distribution Center Lead.
Schedule: Monday through Friday (Occasional Saturdays if needed)
Compensation: $ 23.00 - 25.00
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITES:
- Maintains a safe and organized operating environment
- Assists supervisor in minimizing downtime and identifying opportunities to increase productivity
- Leads team members in daily assignments and coaches/trains team members as necessary
- Ensures processes and procedures are followed
- Audits completed picked orders making necessary adjustments to ensure accuracy of order
- Acts in a professional manner at all times
- Works productively in an individual and team environment
- Maintains proper paperwork for accurate inventory levels
- Ensures that distribution center is clean and prepared for next shift
- Operates forklift to perform certain functions as required (i.e., pull orders, replenish stock, load container, etc.)
- In absence of Supervisor, performs daily startup and assign duties to team members
- Performs other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- 2+ years distribution center operations experience
- 2+ years forklift experience
- Leadership/communication skills
- Strong math/analytical skills
- Speak, read and write English
- Basic computer knowledge
COMPETENCIES:
- Time management skills
- Ability follow written/verbal instructions
- Read and understand all laws and policies as set forth by Tireco
- Safely operate a forklift in a distribution center environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to shift priorities as business conditions demand

- Vision sufficient to read standard text, a computer monitor, and other operating systems
- Independent mobility; agility and stamina to stand, sit, walk, push, and pull

- Exposure to moderate to low noise levels
- Withstand temperatures in a typical warehouse environment
