Director of Finance and Fiduciary Services
Status: Full Time Reports To: Managing Directors Leadership: Member of the IKOR Leadership Team
Position Summary
IKOR is seeking a Director of Finance and Fiduciary Services with a strong accounting background to join our Leadership Team and oversee the financial operations of the organization.
This individual will be responsible for the accuracy and oversight of IKOR’s financial functions, including payroll, billing, accounts receivable and payable, financial reporting, budgeting, and ongoing financial monitoring. The Director will provide the Managing Directors and Leadership Team with meaningful financial information to support sound business decisions.
The position also includes leadership support for the Financial Advocacy and Home Maintenance teams and an appropriate caseload providing fiduciary services to IKOR clients.
Financial Management
- Oversee payroll, billing, accounts receivable and payable, reconciliations, and day-to-day financial operations in Quickbooks.
- Prepare and review quarterly financial statements and support budgeting and financial forecasting.
- Monitor financial performance and identify trends, concerns, risks, and opportunities for leadership.
- Coordinate with IKOR’s CPA, payroll provider, and other outside financial professionals.
- Maintain appropriate financial controls and identify opportunities to improve financial processes and efficiency.
Leadership and Team Collaboration
- Serve as an active member of the IKOR Leadership Team and contribute to organizational planning and decision making.
- Support the Financial Advocacy and Home Maintenance teams under the direction of the Managing Directors.
- Work collaboratively with the Director of Operations to support effective workflows, staffing, accountability, and service delivery.
- Provide financial expertise, guidance, and problem-solving to team members as appropriate.
Client Caseload
- Carry an appropriate caseload providing fiduciary services to IKOR clients.
- Work directly with clients and collaborate with team members, families, trustees, attorneys, financial advisors, accountants, and other professionals.
- Identify financial concerns and help develop appropriate strategies and next steps.
- Maintain appropriate documentation and follow through on client needs and responsibilities.
Workload and Position Expectations
This is a full time position that combines responsibility for IKOR’s financial operations, participation on the Leadership Team, support of the Financial Advocacy and Home Maintenance teams, and an appropriate fiduciary services caseload.
The workload will vary based on payroll and billing cycles, quarterly financial reporting, organizational priorities, and client needs. The Director must be able to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy, responsiveness, and appropriate follow through.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a strong accounting background who also has the professional judgment and interpersonal skills necessary to work within a client-focused professional services organization.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Professional experience in accounting, financial management, or a closely related role.
- Experience with payroll, billing, accounts receivable and payable, account reconciliation, and financial reporting.
- The ability to prepare, review, and understand financial statements and organizational financial performance.
- Strong analytical, organizational, technology, and problem solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to financial accuracy.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with leadership, employees, clients, and outside professionals.
- The ability to manage confidential financial and client information with discretion.
- Demonstrated ownership, professional judgment, accountability, and follow through.
Experience with fiduciary services, trust administration, financial advocacy, professional services, aging, disability, or special needs services is beneficial but not required.
A CPA or other accounting credential is beneficial but is not required.

They should be comfortable moving between organizational financial responsibilities, leadership discussions, team support, and fiduciary client needs.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
