Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
- Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment
- Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experiences
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety
- Assist with food handling, sanitation, and proper food preparation procedures in accordance with food safety regulations
- Clear tables, bus tables (bussing), and maintain cleanliness in dining areas to ensure a welcoming environment
- Use OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage guest seating efficiently
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail recipes, and beverage service techniques
- Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring satisfaction
Experience
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Experience in fine dining environments or with cocktail and spirits service is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for processing transactions and splitting checks
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters guest loyalty
- Experience with serving alcohol responsibly and understanding related legal requirements is desirable
