We are hiring a part-time Porter / General Cleaner to help keep our warehouse
clean, organized, and operating efficiently. This position will primarily be
responsible for collecting, breaking down, and baling cardboard; cleaning the
warehouse, kitchens, and bathrooms; emptying trash cans; and moving
completed orders to their designated carrier pickup locations.
This is a physically active support position that requires dependable attendance,
the ability to work independently, and a willingness to perform routine cleaning
tasks throughout the workday.
Responsibilities
Collect, break down, and bale cardboard throughout the warehouse
Safely operate the cardboard baler after completing training
Sweep and clean warehouse floors, aisles, work areas, and shared spaces
Clean employee kitchens and break areas
Clean and restock bathrooms
Empty trash cans and replace liners
Remove plastic wrap, packing materials, and other warehouse debris
Move completed and staged orders to the appropriate carrier pickup
locations
Keep aisles, exits, and common areas clear and orderly
Report spills, safety hazards, damaged equipment, or maintenance
concerns
Complete other general cleaning and warehouse-maintenance tasks as
assigned
Qualifications
Dependable attendance and punctuality
Ability to work independently and stay on task
Willingness to perform cleaning duties throughout the workday
Ability to follow instructions and workplace safety procedures
