Job Description
Job Title: Part-Time Administrative Professional
Job Duties:
● Attend meetings in place of the Executive Director when necessary and provide comprehensive reports and updates.
● Oversee all social media and marketing efforts, including content creation, scheduling, and engagement.
● Assist with the planning and execution of events, including coordinating vendors, volunteers, and external partners.
● Serve as the staff liaison to the Events and Fundraising Committees, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
● Assist in financial tracking related to fundraising efforts and donor engagement.
● Assist with donor communications, including coordinating acknowledgment letters and thank-you notes.
● Maintain and update GMDC’s website content, ensuring accuracy and engagement.
● Design marketing materials, flyers, and promotional graphics for events and social media.
● Recruit, train, and manage volunteers for events and projects.
● Support the promotion and coordination of Promoting Respect Workshops and other educational initiatives.
● Assist in researching, drafting, and tracking grant applications and corporate sponsorship opportunities.
● Answer the phone and check voicemail messages, directing inquiries to the appropriate staff members.
● Retrieve and distribute USPS mail.
● Maintain and update email contact lists for the board, contributors, and community partners.
● Send meeting invites, attend board meetings, and prepare board meeting minutes.
● Prepare invoices and track payments.
● Perform general clerical duties such as copying, mailing, ordering office supplies, and maintaining office organization.
Responsibilities:
● Attend meetings, taking detailed minutes and ensuring follow-up actions.
● Write and distribute emails, correspondence memos, and letters.
● Order office supplies and research cost-effective vendors.
● Maintain and update contact lists for organizational stakeholders.
● Submit and reconcile expense reports.
● Provide general support to visitors and community partners.
● Contribute to organizational strategy by identifying and implementing process improvements.
● Ensure seamless internal communication and workflow within GMDC.
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
