Position Summary
The Guest Services Agent is the first and last impression of our hotel. This role is responsible for creating memorable guest experiences by providing friendly, efficient service throughout the guest journey. From check-in and check-out to answering questions and resolving concerns, Guest Services Agents play an essential role in ensuring every stay exceeds expectations.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests with a warm, genuine, and professional attitude.
- Complete guest check-in and check-out procedures accurately and efficiently.
- Answer phones, respond to emails, and assist with reservations.
- Process payments and maintain accurate guest accounts.
- Provide recommendations for local restaurants, attractions, and activities throughout Bend and Central Oregon.
- Resolve guest concerns promptly while maintaining Hilton hospitality standards.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure rooms are guest-ready.
- Monitor lobby presentation, marketplace inventory, and common areas.
- Follow hotel cash handling, security, and safety procedures.
- Assist with laundry, breakfast, or light housekeeping support when business demands require.
- Build Hilton Honors member loyalty by promoting program benefits and recognizing member status.
- Maintain guest confidentiality and comply with all Hilton and company policies.
- Work collaboratively with all departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Qualifications
- Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable learning hotel software and technology.
- Ability to multitask while remaining organized and detail-oriented.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements
- Stand and walk for extended periods.
- Occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.
- Bend, reach, and move throughout the hotel as needed.
- Operate standard office equipment and computer systems.
