Cambay Healthcare is seeking an experienced Ophthalmic Technician to support ophthalmologists and optometrists in a busy outpatient setting.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- JCAHPO certification: COA, COT, or COMT
- Vocational/technical training from an accredited program preferred
- Must be able to perform refractions
Key Skills:
- Visual acuity and intraocular pressure testing
- Tonometry and applanation
- Visual fields
- A/B scans
- Autorefraction and lensometry
- OCT and fundus photography
- Corneal topography
- Refractions
- Patient history and medication/allergy review
- Eye drop administration
- Patient flow and room preparation
Additional Details:
- BILH coversheet required at submission
- Weekly Monday orientation
- Candidates who previously worked for BILH must have been separated for at least 6 months
- Public transportation available
- Parking may cost up to $43/day
