Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Litigation Attorney to assist our personal injury and/or mass tort team. MUST BE LICENSED IN EITHER CALIFORNIA, PENNSYLVANIA or NEW JERSEY.
Responsibilities:
- Draft and file complaints, pleadings, and other case-initiating documents in personal injury and/or sexual abuse mass tort matters
- Manage written discovery, including preparing and responding to interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission
- Conduct and defend depositions, including preparing clients and coordinating with experts and co-counsel
- Research and draft substantive motions, including motions to dismiss, motions to compel, and summary judgment briefs
- Collaborate on case strategy, including liability analysis, damages evaluation, and settlement positioning
- Prepare cases for trial, including organizing exhibits, preparing witness outlines, and assisting with trial logistics
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal teams to ensure timely and strategic case progression
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD)
- Admission to practice law in California, Pennsylvania or New Jersey
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil litigation, with a strong preference for candidates who have specific experience in personal injury and/or mass torts.
- Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently in a remote setting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to provide concise and clear feedback.
