In this energetic role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and servicing semi trailers and related heavy equipment to ensure safety, reliability, and optimal performance. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive inspections of semi trailers, including brakes, suspensions, axles, electrical systems, hydraulics, and body work.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics, diagnostic tools, and special equipment.
- Repair or replace damaged components such as shocks & struts, air brakes, wheel alignments, and hydraulic systems.
- Fabricate parts or modifications using welding and power tools to meet specific repair needs.
- Conduct heavy equipment operation including forklift handling and overhead crane.
- Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports for all repairs performed.
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all maintenance activities to ensure a secure work environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a heavy truck or semi trailer mechanic is helpful but not a must.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Experience with operation of forklifts.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
