Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair various appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and dishwashers using schematics and technical manuals
- Perform equipment repairs with precision, ensuring all work meets safety standards and manufacturer specifications
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot complex issues related to refrigeration, electrical components, and mechanical assemblies
- Conduct installations and assembly of appliances as needed
- Maintain detailed records of service calls, repairs performed, parts used, and time spent on each job
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly about repair issues, timelines, and maintenance tips
- Follow safety protocols during all field service activities to ensure personal safety and that of customers
- Assist with inventory management of parts and tools necessary for repairs
Qualifications
- Proven experience in appliance repair or related field service roles
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams
- Experience with equipment repair, assembly, and electrical troubleshooting
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Ability to work independently in the field while managing multiple service calls efficiently
