Qualifications Required
Must pass an uphill MIG bend test

Job Duties
- Set up, use and maintain Lincoln and Miller welders

Maintain PPE’s
- Interpret project blueprints
- Read and take measurements

MIG weld all roots, fills and caps on 516 70 steel boilers to comply with welding standards
- Use cranes to move boilers and parts throughout shop
- Repair minor weld defects with angle and pencil grinders

Repair leaking weld defects with stick welding method
- Maintain a clean work environment
- Comply with OSHA standards
- Follow orders from Road Crew Supervisor

MUST BE ABLE TO TRAVEL DAYS OR WEEKS AT TIME

- Ability to operate hand held machinery

Ability to use hand held power tools and welders for extended periods of time
