Our client, a rapidly growing healthcare organization in Fairfax, Virginia, has retained our firm to conduct an executive search for a Director of Operations.

About the Opportunity
As Director of Operations, you'll oversee the day-to-day business operations while helping build the operational foundation for future expansion.
You'll provide leadership for 13 team members, including operational and front-office staff, while developing systems that support exceptional service and sustainable growth.
What You'll Do
- Lead day-to-day operations across the organization
- Manage, coach, and develop a team of 13 employees
- Create and implement scalable operating procedures
- Improve operational efficiency and customer experience
- Partner with executive leadership on business strategy
- Monitor KPIs and identify opportunities for improvement
- Oversee staffing, scheduling, vendor relationships, and facilities
- Help lead the successful opening of future locations
- Build repeatable operational systems that support long-term growth
Qualifications
We're seeking a leader who enjoys building organizations—not simply maintaining them.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field
- MBA or PMP preferred
- Five or more years of operations leadership experience
- Experience leading teams and developing managers
- Strong financial and operational business acumen
- Proven success implementing systems and improving processes
- Multi-location healthcare, dental, medical practice, or service industry experience is highly preferred
