Duties
- Diagnose issues with mobile devices such as smartphones, tablets, and laptops across various operating systems including Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows.
- Perform repairs using hand tools and soldering techniques on circuit boards and internal components.
- Troubleshoot software problems related to operating systems and applications, providing clear solutions or escalations when necessary.
- Repair computer hardware components such as screens, batteries, charging ports, and internal circuitry.
- Follow schematics and technical diagrams to accurately identify faults and execute repairs efficiently.
- Provide technical support to customers both in-store and in the field service environment, explaining repair processes clearly.
- Utilize analysis skills to assess device issues quickly and determine the best course of action for repair or replacement.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of mobile devices including Android and iOS platforms, along with familiarity with macOS and Windows operating systems.
- Proficiency with soldering techniques, hand tools, and electronic schematics for precise repairs.
- Experience troubleshooting software issues related to operating systems and device applications.
- Solid understanding of computer hardware components and equipment repair procedures.
- Excellent analysis skills to diagnose complex device problems swiftly and accurately.
- Ability to interpret schematics and technical diagrams for effective troubleshooting.
