Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team For reffer loads. Atleast 1 year experience .The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various destinations while ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations and company policies. This role requires a commitment to safety, punctuality, and excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Operate trucks to transport goods over specified routes.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring that all items are secured properly.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel use, and cargo details.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
- Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organization.
Skills
- Proficient in heavy lifting and handling large items safely.
- Experience with pallet jacks and forklifts for efficient loading and unloading of cargo.
- Familiarity with route driving to optimize delivery times.
- Strong organizational skills in managing delivery schedules and paperwork.
- Background in warehouse operations or as a delivery driver is preferred.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills for interaction with customers and team members.
- Experience in moving or courier services is a plus.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
